1.1  school profile 

       hello ... I will describe "Universities and Schools in Cebu, I never thought before I would get more knowledge, experience, family and friends. USJ-R is one of the best and well-known universities and schools in Cebu, Philippines. USJ-R has three locations, namely Cebu South Road, Basak Pardo, Cebu City. And I entered Basak Pardo. Forever I will remember the core strategy of USJ-R "breaking barriers, empowering life" that has a good impact on society. Destination: "ORIENTED COMMUNITY CHRISTIAN COMMUNITY EDUCATION QUALITY". In line with this recognized goal, San Jose-Recoletos University strives to contribute to the nation of the Philippines, graduates who are God-centered, academically superior, and community-oriented.

USJ-R's vision,
we envision USJ-R as a gospel and community-oriented educational institution that was eliminated to transform individuals into more responsive community leaders through integral formation of innovation.

USJ-R Mission Statement

TECHNOLOGY EDUCATION AREA AND LIVELIHOODS (TLE)
To equip students with basic technical and practical knowledge and to develop their aesthetic skills to make them productive and independent members of a developing society.

MUSIC, ARTS, PHYSICAL, HEALTH (MAPEH) EDUCATION AREA
To provide students with basic concepts and activities for the development of a healthy mind and body and to develop their skills and love for art as reliable members and community leaders.

KNOWLEDGE SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY
To produce students who are equipped with basic scientific principles, skills and attitudes to overcome technological advances and environmental challenges and to act as a catalyst for a better life.

1.2 Academic support system
 The USJR has 3 programs including:
Special Programs Thedepartment curriculum described by the Department of Education (DepEd) is generally designed for the average student. While the school adopts this program, it also recognizes individual differences among students, theprogram's Enrichment Program is directed at further developing certain skills and talents of gifted students. To motivate them to pursue greater intellectual, creative, and aesthetic, more diverse and challenging activities and tasks are provided in various fields of study, theprogram's Remedial Programaims to facilitate the learning of students found to be below the expected level of learning competency. can be accepted in a variety of different subjects

1.3 Teaching System
 The JHS Department at USJ-R starts at 7:45 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. but every day they conduct a flag-raising ceremony at 07:35. the subject is English, science, mathematics, a covering of Christian life, social studies, MAPEH (Music, Arts, PE, Health), technology. Each subject will be studied every day and the duration is one hour. the duration for each subject is spent about 1 hour in the learning and teaching process. In lower secondary school has 3 schedules, the first schedule for normal activities is spent 1 hour for one subject, the second schedule is schedule F spent 50 minutes for one subject that will be used if the teacher has another meeting or event. Third is schedule E spent 40 minutes to be used when USJ-R has a large event involving student activities such as family days, students must practice mass dances.
They have other activities after class at 3 pm such as dance clubs, gee clubs, MR clubs, basketball clubs, soccer clubs, badminton clubs, computer science clubs, instrumental ensemble clubs, volleyball clubs, chess clubs, scout

1.4 Materials and Other Learning Sources
As a general situation, teachers usually use books as basic ingredients in the teaching and learning process. But other materials are added from the internet such as videos, power points using computers, projectors, microphones.
And other learning resources that can be used in teaching and learning activities such as:

2.      4sains (Chemistry, physics, earth and space, biology)
3.      3 computer labs
4.      Lounge compilation
5.      Service Emergency Medical (EMS) Room
6.      AraLink E-Learning space

1.5 System of measurement and Evaluation Theevaluation system is
school divided into 4 examinations (fourth quarter) on topics discussed in the quarter, 10% knowledge of student grades and 15% process. Knowledge questions focus on terms, identification, enumeration while process questions use critical thinking from students' thoughts on topics / question

the first formal activity in USJ-R on January 10th2019 ,, but still lead the orientation is to be beautiful lady Mrs Jocelyn B. Martinez and gwapa ( beautiful), gwapo (handsome) buddies .. we share everything about our achievements, our next ambitions and playing games. because we are still 4 students Askha, Wilda, rizky and me, we have to wait for the other student teachers because they got into trouble on their way ... a few hours they arrived and I spoke to myself, haa she was a childish looking salma but beautiful, she is Darni who always smiles and doesn't talk much, she's a ragil who looks arrogant but she's good, the last is fajrin who always responds to our chat in our group chat ... and we start to get to know each other in real life.
The next activity is having lunch with SEA Teacher Participants and USE-R COE Faculty at Yakimix Unlimited Buffet Restaurant, SM Seaside, Cebu City, can you imagine friends ... FREE, NO LIMITS, YAKIMIX, here we are together

Tapanan as chairman, College of Education, all USJ-R COE faculty teachers. these moments were very memorable in my mind and my heart, the first time I knew who they were.
